portraits – my neice

The other day my neice asked me whether I would take some photos of her, and naturally I said yes.  It was a chilly Sunday and we went to Turnham Gree, Chiswick.  I know this area quite well and like that there is an elevated train track, and when looking down it it has some great vanishing points.

We agreed to do the shoot in quite a relaxed style, mainly experimenting with one off camera light.  Here are some of the pictures from our shoot.

For those of you who are interested I used a 24-70mm lens on my 5D mk2, off camera flash fired through a soft box and triggered by pocket wizards plus 2s.

I hope that you like them and please feel free to comment.
