Not so long ago I worked with up and coming British actor and good buddy of mine, Julian Klinger. I had the pleasure of working with him again a few days ago. The intention of this shoot was to do something casual as well as get Julian into a winged shirt with a loose bow tie and go for the guy who has just won at the casino look.
As always Julian was a pleasure to work with. Extremely professional, and above all else able to portray the characters we wanted to capture with ease and conviction.
The lighting was simple during our shoot. The images with the grey background were taken using two softboxes to the side and one beauty dish to the front. With the other shots of Julian in the tuxedo, these were taken either with a softbox, or a beauty dish which was to Julian’s right and facing down at him – oh and a reflector on some of those!
Here are two images from the shoot. One is of Julian wearing a white t-shirt and dark blue jeans and the second is the tuxedo shot.
The editing was simpe using a couple of techniques that I have been experimenting with of late – and which I will be sharing with you soon.
I hope that you like these images, please feel free to leave your comments.
